Own your Genius.
There are many who believe that one is not born a genius; one becomes a genius. If we are to assume that there moments of superior intellect and talent in all of us (by "superior," I mean not commonly displayed), then why do the moments seem so few and far between?
Often, we are so busy in the momentum of our lives that we forget who we are and what it is that we are actually doing. We are so future-focused that we may miss some of our greatest victories in the process of living. Sustainable success requires a clarity not only of the evidence of its existence but a greater awareness at the time of its arrival. What is this that I am experiencing and how did I get here? It is only when we know who we truly are and the genius that lies within that we are able to walk with full power and potential into our future.
Stop for a moment and take inventory. What are your three greatest moments of genius? If you had to name three, what would they be? What were the challenges and obstacles that you had to overcome? How did you do it? How might your life be different now if you were more patient with yourself and others?
Success or sabotage? If you truly remembered who you were at every moment, you would never allow fear to inhibit you from pursuing your dreams; you would know that you already have everything that you need to succeed.
Is this going to be an incredible day? Are you willing to practice the patience necessary to appreciate the gift of every moment?
