Use your Failure.
Failure is simply a concept that feeds on a victim consciousness. When one focuses on what was not or did not happen, one is living in the past. Regret has no role in success. Failure can be utilized as a tool to determine a more effective strategy and approach for tomorrow.
The temptation to live as a victim is solidified by our choice to remain attached to old stories. Errors in judgment, inappropriate actions or even inaction become the construct by which we live our lives. This story is like an old comfortable shoe--it may be falling apart and even hurting our feet, but we hang on to it because we feel that it defines us in some way. We are used to it and do not wish to go to the trouble of finding and buying new shoes. Eventually, when we get enough blisters on our feet, we consider alternatives. The same is true of these things that we so easily categorize as "failures." The effect that we caused has great value should we choose to acknowledge it.
What is your story? Does it continue to serve you or is it time to write a new one? How would you like for the new story to read? How does it end?
Success or sabotage? Success is created; it is not born.
Is this going to be an incredible day? What can you apply from yesterday's experience to make it so?
