Express your Gratitude.
There is so much for which we can be grateful if we will simply take the time to acknowledge it. Studies have proven that just a few minutes of gratitude can completely reverse your heart rate (for the better). Take a moment, right now, to be thankful. Do you feel it? Can you feel your heart expanding? If you could carry that feeling throughout the entire day, what do you think would happen? How would those around you respond? Would it affect your productivity?
Today, step out of your comfort zone and tell another how grateful you are for their presence in your life. Select those who are outside of your immediate circle of family or friends. Come on now! It may feel uncomfortable at first, but I guarantee it will feel good. If you feel resistance or the temptation to put it off until it is more "convenient," that is an even greater sign that now is the time. Think of how good it feels when someone tells you how much they appreciate you. It feels good, doesn't it? Wouldn't you like to create that experience for another?
Success or sabotage? If you wish to open the door for more success and greater joy in your life, take the steps necessary to create it for another.
