Bridge the Gap.
There is often a void between what you know and what you do. Fear, doubt, uncertainty, habit and the power of assumptions may keep you locked in an ineffective cycle. Consciously or unconsciously, you may be your own worst enemy. One of the first steps to creating greater success for yourself (after you have defined what that is for you) is to do a "gap analysis." Is there a conflict between what you think/know/believe and what you do?
I invite you to consider the answers to the following questions. Avoid the temptation to simply consider them; write your answers down!
- What are five facts about life that are indisputable?
- What do you know without the slightest shadow of doubt?
- How do these truths affect your life (if at all)?
- What do you know about yourself?
- Are your actions incongruent with your beliefs?
The world is filled with many great thinkers. One might argue that the only sustainable value results from the ability to harness genius into action. Thomas Edison may not have been the first to conceive of the light bulb, but he was the man of note who managed to infuse his genius into measurable outcomes.
Are you simply thinking or are you doing? Are the two worlds happily engaged in creating greater success, joy, and abundance in your life?
Success or sabotage? The door for success is opened when you are able to translate your thoughts into effective action.
