Entertain positive Possibilities.
Be mindful in your resolve; be careful of stating absolutes as the reality (rather than your own). If you are not open to the possibility that you could be wrong, you may be obstructing potential growth. You may also be blinding yourself to the unexpected which often contains the greatest gifts. Entertain that people and circumstances may hold more "good" then is evident on the surface. What if there is indeed something greater at work?
When you are dealing with those that challenge you in your life, when you are evaluating the politics of the workplace and of the government, do not confuse the words and actions with your interpretation of the words and actions. The two may not be the same. Do not allow yourself to vilify those who think in opposition as a way of managing your immediate discomfort. Remind yourself that we are more alike than different and that we all want similar things (despite our ideological differences in belief and approach). You may hate the message, but do not kill the messenger. If you are able to manage this delicate balance and remain in your personal integrity, you are a peacemaker in a world that may need a little more peace.
Take a moment to think of a person that challenges you. Why does this person get under your skin? What are the similarities between the two of you? What are three things that you like about this person (if you were forced to name three)? How can you manage your relationship more effectively? What might the benefits be of surrendering your feelings of distrust, anger, resentment or righteousness?
Success or sabotage? Success is a journey full of vision and compromise; are you able to maintain one without losing the other?
Is this going to be an incredible day? Do you believe in the possibility of this day no matter how you felt when you awakened?
